SANTO DOMINGO. – The Real Estate Registry informed the public that due to the process of improving and maintaining its digital platforms, its offices will not be working on certain dates at the end of this year.
In a statement released through its social media channels, the entity indicated that on December 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, 2024 and January 1, 2025, the digital platforms will be undergoing maintenance, and therefore both online and in-person services will be suspended during that period.
The entity reaffirmed its commitment to continue improving the quality and efficiency of its services, in order to guarantee a more agile and secure system for real estate management in the Dominican Republic.
They also indicated that their activities will continue as normal on December 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2024, and from January 2, 2025, with users able to access the institution's services without interruption.
The Real Estate Registry is the entity responsible for managing real estate rights and their corresponding registration in the Dominican Republic, under the framework of Law No. 108-05. Created by Resolution No. 008-2020 of the Judicial Council, this agency's mission is to promote legal certainty, economic development, and social peace through the efficient management of real estate registries
