SANTO DOMINGO.- The commercial aviation company RED AIR announced that it will offer international flight services from La Romana International Airport, facilitating connections to the city of Miami, with two daily flights.
La Romana International Airport will facilitate the management of RED Air flights to Miami due to its user-friendly structure, airport facilities and other services, which will allow for a pleasant waiting time for passengers, says a company statement.
“This change allows us to achieve excellence in our flight to the city of Miami, guaranteeing that the process is more efficient and, above all, faster, since the airport has ample space and a structure that speeds up passenger transit,” says Héctor Gómez, CEO of the airline.
He said the airline will implement an attractive fare scheme to encourage the acquisition of customers residing in San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, Bayahibe and Punta Cana, so that they can benefit from more competitive prices to fly to Miami.
“We are the only airline that will operate from La Romana International Airport to Miami, which makes us a competitive, profitable and attractive option, both for locals and foreigners, since with this new airport we also want to encourage inbound tourism in the Dominican Republic by also moving passengers from Florida to the most demanded tourist destinations closest to Casa de Campo Airport,” the executive explained.
He added that with this new step, RED Air will have operational and commercial offices in La Romana, and will maintain its administrative and commercial offices in Santo Domingo.
