SANTO DOMINGO- The Ministry of Labor invited interested people to participate in the job fairs for La Altagracia and La Vega, tomorrow Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th of this month of September 2024, which will take place from 9:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon.
The La Altagracia event will be held at the Infotep Hotel School facilities on Avenida La Altagracia, corner of Juan 23, Higüey, La Altagracia, while in La Vega it will be held at the La Vega Industrial Park, reception area of Tabacalera El Artista, Avenida Pedro A. Rivera corner of Calle Papi Olivier, Plaza Juan Pablo Duarte 3rd level.
The organization explains in a press release that there are 175 vacancies in Higüey for cook, baker, restaurant hostess, waiter and waiter's assistant, bartender and bartender's assistant, steward, maintenance engineer, plumber, painter, upholsterer, room operator, entertainers, public area assistant, aisle attendant and chambermaid.
There are 150 vacancies in La Vega for tobacco workers and strippers.
The Ministry of Labor clarifies that the recruitment process depends on each company; some of them take a little longer due to the nature of their vacancies.
