SANTO DOMINGO.- The Jet Set Justice Movement has called for a preliminary hearing in the case related to the tragedy that occurred at the Jet Set nightclub, which will be held next Monday, March 16, at 9:00 a.m. at the Palace of Justice in Ciudad Nueva, according to information provided by the organization.
According to the statement released by the movement, this hearing represents an important step in the search for truth, accountability, and justice for the victims and survivors of the event that scarred the country. The organization indicated that it hopes the judicial process will clarify the circumstances surrounding the event and determine the corresponding responsibilities.
The movement also called on judicial authorities to treat the case with the seriousness and transparency demanded by Dominican society, and urged citizens, as well as the victims' families, to remain attentive to the development of the process, according to information provided by the entity.
