SANTO DOMINGO. –SANTO DOMINGO. – Dominican builders, real estate developers, hoteliers and investors have 22 international events ahead of them between September and December 2026, with appointments dedicated to construction, technology, tourism, hospitality, sustainability, real estate investment and financing.
The calendar includes specialized trade fairs and business meetings in America, Europe and the Middle East, with topics ranging from artificial intelligence and BIM to construction materials, housing, cross-border capital, luxury tourism and large real estate developments.
For Dominican professionals, these events represent an opportunity to learn about new technologies, compare trends, identify suppliers, explore source markets, and follow the movements of international capital before beginning planning for 2027.

The construction agenda began in September with Autodesk University 2026, held from September 15-17 in Las Vegas, with content related to artificial intelligence, automation, BIM and digital transformation for architecture, engineering and construction.
Although the meeting has already taken place, its content and trends remain of interest to Dominican companies that are evaluating digital tools for planning, design, coordination and execution of projects.

In October, the calendar moves to Mexico with Expo CIHAC, from the 14th to the 16th in Mexico City, one of the most important events for construction professionals in the Latin American market.

For the Dominican tourism sector, one of the first events on the calendar is SDQ MICE 2026, which takes place in Santo Domingo from September 21 to 23.

October also features two important events for the meetings and cruise tourism sector.
From October 12-16, the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will bring together representatives from cruise lines, ports and destinations.

With the arrival of November, the international tourism agenda shifts to Europe.
From November 3 to 5, World Travel Market London will be held, one of the main meeting points of the international tourism industry.
In Barcelona, from November 17 to 19, IBTM World will bring together professionals specializing in meetings, congresses and events.
The year will end for the luxury segment with ILTM Cannes, from November 30 to December 3 in France, an event focused on high-end tourism and relationships between buyers and specialized suppliers.
For the Dominican sector, these events offer different perspectives to monitor the evolution of source markets, luxury tourism, corporate travel, conferences, and competition between destinations.
Miami is the focus of the real estate agenda for 2026
Miami will have a particularly important concentration of meetings related to real estate investment and international business between September and November.
The International Real Estate Conference (IREC) 2026, organized by MIAMI REALTORS®, will be held from September 26 to 27 and will be focused on the international real estate business and relationships between professionals from different markets.
The city will once again be a hub of real estate activity from November 1st to 4th with the MIAMI Global Real Estate Congress, aimed at international delegations and professionals interested in real estate business opportunities.
Two weeks later, from November 17 to 19, Latin America GRI Real Estate will bring together executives and investors linked to the Latin American real estate market in Miami.
The agenda includes issues such as capital flows between the United States and Latin America, debt, capital structures, financing, and strategies for attracting investment.
For Dominican developers, Miami is a particularly relevant vantage point due to the existing connection between the Florida real estate market and Latin American and Caribbean capital.
Brazil, Spain and Saudi Arabia expand the investment map
On October 28 and 29, Brazil GRI, in São Paulo, will bring together executives and investors around topics related to capital, credit, hospitality, logistics and real estate development.
In Barcelona, November will combine two meetings directly linked to the future of cities and housing.
From November 3 to 5, Smart City Expo World Congress will address solutions for cities, technology, mobility, urban planning and sustainable development.
