It will be built with an investment of US$30 million
PUNTA CANA.– The foreign-owned Perassan Group broke ground last weekend on the TAMAN complex, which will be built on the Eastern Tourist Boulevard, with a projected investment of US$30 million.
The company's president and CEO, Marcus Boereau, said in his speech that with the 144-unit project, they want to be a benchmark in architectural design and sustainable development, creating spaces that promote holistic well-being and a life in harmony with the natural environment.
He highlighted the favorable investment climate prevailing in the Dominican Republic and stated that the project's commencement demonstrates confidence in the development and growth of the eastern region, a cornerstone of tourism in the country. The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion in March 2025, and the second phase in December of the same year.
“We are firmly committed to this investment due to the favorable macroeconomic stability of the Dominican Republic, which currently enjoys a strong currency, a low inflation rate, a skilled workforce, and not to mention the beauty of its landscapes, making this region an ideal destination for foreign investment,” the executive explained.
A press release details that TAMAN will feature 144 one- and two-bedroom apartment units, distributed across nine four-story buildings, and “the first commercial space in the area, which will contribute to economic growth.” It will be built on a 25,000-square-meter site.

Boereal explained that he expects the complex to become the ideal space for short-term Airbnb-type stays or permanent residences for those seeking retirement, and that in just a few months they will achieve a significant increase in value.
He thanked the sales teams for their work, which, according to him, resulted in placements worth more than $10 million from investors in 14 countries, "which practically represents the closing of the first phase and the beginning of the second and a demonstration of the indisputable confidence in the foreign investment climate in the Dominican Republic," he emphasized.
The TAMAN project is being built by Vergéz & Asoc. It was designed by Luxia Labs and the rendering was done by Vis -Disarqui.
