SANTO DOMINGO. – The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) announced this Thursday the relocation of its headquarters to a new building on 27 de Febrero Avenue in the National District.
The president of the aeronautical organization, Héctor Porcella, stated that the new premises have a more functional and accessible space, which will allow for improved operational efficiency and optimized customer service.
He said that the new headquarters of the Civil Aviation Board, located at 492 February 27th Avenue, Renacimiento sector, Santo Domingo, is equipped with facilities, suitable to its role as a regulatory body of the sector and to the sustained development that the aeronautical industry is experiencing in the country.
“With the support that President Luis Abinader has been offering to the growth of civil aviation as a fundamental support for tourism and international trade, this new headquarters will contribute to promoting the development of air transport and improving its contribution to the sector,” Porcella noted.
He indicated that during the move process, which is now practically complete, the Board's activities will continue to function without interruption, so citizens and businesses will be able to access its services through the usual channels.
