SANTO DOMINGO.- Continuing with the training program for its members, the Association of Housing Developers and Builders of Cibao (APROCOVICI), announced the development of a conference as part of the entity's commitment to the technical strengthening of the construction sector in the Dominican Republic.
“"Construction in perspective: From the current situation to structural change, a dialogue between Santiago and Cambridge" is the title of the organized conversation that will take place on May 22 at 5:30 in the afternoon, in the Auditorium of the Residence Inn by Marriott hotel, in the Heart City.
According to information from the Cibao construction guild, it will feature the participation of two prominent economists: Raul Ovalle, managing partner of Analytica, and Juan Ariel Jimenez, professor of public policy and economic development at Harvard University.
During the discussion, the speakers will share their views, analyzing the current conditions and proposing a structural change approach, with both a local and international focus.
"The training day represents an opportunity for critical analysis and the exchange of ideas among professionals, entrepreneurs and authorities in the sector, with the aim of promoting sustainable solutions and long-term strategies for the development of the construction industry in the country," says Aprocovici.
The association explains that members of the guild can attend with two representatives per company at no additional cost, while additional participants and non-members must make a contribution of RD$3,000.00 per person.
