SANTO DOMINGO. – For the fourth time, President Luis Abinader and First Lady Raquel Arbaje inaugurated the fourth edition of Villa Navidad 2025 , a colorful park for the enjoyment of Dominican families that will run until January 5th.
The space operates in the gardens of the Sports Palace in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, on Máximo Gómez Avenue, in the National District, and the hours range from 6:00 to 10:00 pm completely free.
Villa Navidad offers a space for fun, tradition and family togetherness for the entertainment of children and adults.
During the opening, Abinader urged parents, children, grandparents, nephews, uncles and aunts to visit the Christmas Village and enjoy the prepared activities.
Amid laughter and applause from the children, he asked for a "loud shout of joy " to kick off the Christmas season with enthusiasm.
The mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía , highlighted that Villa Navidad has been lovingly prepared to offer memorable experiences to children and adults.
"To our brothers and sisters in the capital , we invite you to come and visit a space that has been conceived and prepared with love so that we can have those experiences that are so important for children and for adults as well," Mejía emphasized.
For his part, Leonardo Aguilera , CEO of Banco de Reservas , assured that the institution supports the initiative to bring joy , peace and prosperity to Dominican homes.
