Alberto Bogaert announced that during this month the AEI will hold two free courses, one with a national expert and one with an international expert.
SANTO DOMINGO. It's a fascinating business because through it you can help a family stagnate or move forward. There will be more "no's" than "yes's," but we have to have the will to get back on our feet. Sales will come, but it's not that easy. With this exhortation from Juan Estévez of Mr. Home, the CBR-01 Certification concluded last night, a five-day event organized by the AEI, the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies.
“Persist, seek mentors who have already achieved what you are looking for. Don't chase money, but growth; money is the result of completing a full cycle and doing things correctly,” the guest continued, advising the new real estate agents who attended the training program.
For an hour the veteran continued his advice to the young people, “don’t back down, we are the experts, don’t let the client have control of the negotiation, when we allow that time is lost and the profession is damaged, we must know how to advise the client and the owner based on the market.
Determination, a supportive network of friends, a desire to do things well, and a willingness to learn were the driving forces he needed to reach his goal. His rise in the industry began in 2009, and two years later he founded his agency, which he now leads. Last night, he was the special guest of President Alberto Bogaert at the closing of the event, where he demonstrated his vast experience and mastery of the subject.
"Time," he told those present, "is the greatest asset. He asked them not to isolate themselves and to share with their colleagues; not to be prejudiced, and to develop the instinct to identify potential buyers.".
He encouraged those present to join an agency because “a company will allow you to grow faster, it has a database, a structure, stronger foundations, you can cultivate specialization and leverage.
AEI President thanks
Bogaert thanked the team for their work and dedication, the public for their support, the exhibitors, and the group of young people for their interest in learning. “Each certification exceeds expectations.”.
He told the participants that being a real estate agent isn't just about the time you dedicate to it, but also about preparation. "It's a combination.".
He announced that during this month the AEI will hold two courses, one on commercial squares and the second meeting will be led by an international expert.
Marbel Lugo
During her presentation, Marbel Lugo, a motivational speaker, called on real estate agents to put aside their emotional burdens and handle themselves in front of clients.
He said that the real estate broker's profession, like all areas of life, has its difficulties and challenges, which can be overcome with emotional intelligence and knowledge. "No-shows, failed deals, delayed processes, owners who don't pay commission—these are the things that go unseen, but they happen," he noted.
Through her presentation, “Emotional Intelligence: Climbing the Himalayas,” she advised the officers to work on their emotions and learn to understand themselves internally. “Believing in yourself will generate confidence.”.
"An important point is not to focus on the commission, but on customer service because it is necessary to empathize with others. This is a business of human relationships.".
