SANTO DOMINGO.- Businessman Mario Betances announced the celebration of the 9th edition of Construweenkend, a golf tournament focused on generating connections in the Dominican construction sector.
The 2024 award ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, September 28, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in Punta Espada, Cap Cana, will be dedicated to Fermín Acosta, president of Crisfer Inmobiliaria and former president of the Dominican Association of Housing Builders and Promoters (Acoprovi).
Betances explained that the meeting aims to create links between actors in the construction sector, and is aimed at engineers, architects, developers, designers and construction companies.
The announcement of the activity was made within the framework of a cocktail party held on August 28th, in the La Ibérica Showroom, in which actors, leaders of the construction industry and sponsors participated.

Luis Fernando Gutiérrez, general manager of La Ibérica, expressed his satisfaction and gratitude to the attendees who came to the venue, highlighting the excellent setting that Mario Betances created for strengthening business relationships on the golf course.
Betances, for his part, explained that the tournament will be a Big 5 event with one non-player, and that 20 teams will compete at the aforementioned complex. He noted that the event will highlight Fermín Acosta's career and significant contributions to the sport. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams.
