SANTO DOMINGO.-The Real Estate Registry (RI) reminded citizens and users of the entry into force of the regulations of Law 108-05 of Real Estate Registry, as well as the technical provisions for the procedures and requirements of the national directorates of Cadastral Surveys and Title Registration.
Since Friday, November 10, 2023, the institution has implemented the updating of the following regulations: general registration of titles, Cadastral Surveys and inclusion of the parcel regularization and demarcation.
A press release from the agency explains that the technical provisions for the procedures and requirements of the national directorates of Cadastral Surveys and Title Registration were also updated, with the aim of unifying and standardizing the technical and registration processes presented before the aforementioned national directorates, as well as facilitating the presentation of procedures and service requests before the RI.
"Since last March, RI has begun a process of outreach to different sectors of society linked to the entity (academic institutions, unions, the general public and users of the system), in order to publicize the main modifications of these regulations," the press release states.
He adds that the process also included a public consultation stage on the technical provisions for cadastral surveys and title registration, as well as a campaign on the digital platforms of the Real Estate Registry.
