SANTO DOMINGO EAST. – As part of the Three Kings Day celebration, Pragma Capital held a community event exchanging toys for plastic bottles, with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and bringing joy to children.
During the activity, dozens of children who collected and handed over plastic bottles received toys in return, provided by the development firm, as well as by commercial partners and clients of the project, integrating the tradition of Three Kings Day with an educational message about the importance of recycling and caring for the environment.
“At Pragma Capital, we understand that responsible real estate development is also built on simple actions that positively impact the community. This initiative allowed us to celebrate Three Kings Day while promoting environmental awareness among children and their families,” said engineer Gabriel Cabrera, the company’s industrial manager.
The event was supported by the Aecogroup Environmental Foundation, the entity responsible for the classification and proper handling of the collected plastics, ensuring that the material was correctly channeled within the recycling process.
In that regard, Rubén Sánchez, director, highlighted the value of this type of community partnership, noting that initiatives like these strengthen environmental education and generate collective benefits, contributing to cleaner communities and a more sustainable environment.
República del Japón School and the Juan Pablo Duarte Polytechnic Institute
also participated as part of a broader initiative to promote a culture of ongoing recycling in the area.
With these types of actions, Pragma Capital reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility, sustainable development and strengthening ties with the communities where it develops its real estate projects.
Among the companies and partners that supported this initiative are Pristine Supermarket, Saldivar Olivo Real Estate, Domus RD, Tito Gutiérrez of Remax Metropolitana and Carmen Silfa, as well as clients and other collaborators.
