SANTO DOMINGO.- With the aim of improving infrastructure and guaranteeing the drinking water and sanitation service in the country, Corvi, a leader in the manufacture of steel and PVC pipes, is providing after-sales technical assistance to contractors and various clients who require collaboration in the different installations.
This is an initiative to manage the quality and efficiency of processes and interventions, and for this purpose they schedule technical visits to important public and private works.
During the visits, they train, advise, and assist construction sector employees who develop drinking water supply and sanitation projects, taking into account Corvi's commitment to quality service.
As an initial phase, this service is being provided in public and private hydraulic projects nationwide, such as the installation of a 20″ line on Avenida Ecológica in Santo Domingo Este; the installation of a 20″ line in San Felipe, Villa Mella; the sanitary sewer system of the Municipality of Juan Dolio; and the Juan Dolio sewer pressure line.

As well as real estate and tourism projects developed by the private sector throughout the national territory, among others.
Corvi's technical advisor, engineer Pablo Moya, explained that a correct selection of PVC pipes and then a proper installation ensures that they have a useful life exceeding 50 years of service.
He said that using Corvi PVC pipes, which have national and international certifications and meet all quality standards, guarantees that there will be no breakdowns or breaks and that the investment made will be protected.
After-sales service manager, engineer Rubén Pérez, highlighted that engineers and installers are trained on the following topics: what PVC is; how PVC pipes are manufactured; what international standards and specifications PVC pipes must meet; what their uses and applications are; what the correct way to transport them is; how to test the pipes and how to install them correctly on site.
Corvi comprises Corvi PVC, SAS and Corvi Acero, SAS, leading companies in the construction sector both nationally and in the Caribbean. They are characterized by the production and marketing of PVC and steel products, respectively, using high-quality, internationally certified raw materials.
