ARZ Studio: Hospitality and professional judgment in every project

SANTO DOMINGO – Designing a space is, in essence, a way of interpreting lives. At ARZ Estudio, they understand it this way: each project is a responsibility that transcends the visual and becomes an experience, a structure, and a lasting presence.

The firm, led by interior designer Kamila Herrera, was born in April 2025, in the midst of the digital age, and was formalized in the Dominican Republic with a clear focus: hospitality, commercial and residential projects.

The growth of tourism in the country ultimately defined their niche. It wasn't just about opening a business, but about identifying where they could contribute with greater purpose and vision.

Herrera, a graduate of Valdosta State University, argues that the design must be thoroughly understood before it is implemented.

“In interior design, we do use psychology a lot because we need to understand what you need, what you want, and how we can bring it to the table,” she explained.

The company has training aligned with the standards of the Council for Accreditation of Interior Design (CIDA), in the United States, and is part of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

ARZ Estudio operates under three modalities (full service, design and purchasing and concept design), accompanying its clients at each stage of the process.

The expert emphasized that quality depends not only on the concept, but also on the team that makes it possible. Architects, designers, and technicians are part of a structure where each role impacts the final result.

In that system, Delia Dubón, who is the administrative manager, plays a key role in strategic planning and process supervision.

Dubón highlighted that the firm works with an international network of collaborators, integrating global standards and perspectives into each project.

Beyond the technical aspects, ARZ Estudio is defined by faith. For Kamila, professional practice also has a spiritual dimension. "The work we do here, we do for God first and then for people," a conviction that guides every decision.
