SANTO DOMINGO. -The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant) reported that, starting today, Thursday, October 24, it will limit traffic at the intersection of Isabel Aguiar Avenue with Prolongación 27 de Febrero (Pintura) due to the progress in the infrastructure works being carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) on that road.
A statement from Intrant reports that the incorporation of vehicles from Isabel Aguiar towards Prolongación 27 de Febrero will be blocked in both directions, with only local traffic remaining enabled.
Alternatives

The document, released through Intrant's social media channels, states that to facilitate traffic flow, Intrant has established the following alternative routes:
- North side: Guarocuya Street, L Street, I Street and Caonabo Street.
- South side: extension of Rómulo Betancourt Avenue, Jorge Vilalta Street and H Street.
He assures that the area will be properly signposted and will have the support of agents from the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transportation (Digesett) to guarantee order and vehicular flow.
Intrant appreciates the public's understanding and urges drivers to follow the instructions of the authorities to avoid inconveniences during the development of these works.
