SANTO DOMINGO. - The RD Vial Trust announced yesterday, Tuesday, that it has made available to users a new update of the mobile application for the Paso Rápido service, as part of its digital transformation process to offer citizens a more agile, transparent, safe and complete system.
The new version of the Paso Rápido application integrates a series of functions that respond to the current needs of users, allowing them to manage their transactions and devices simply and efficiently from their smartphones, the entity highlights in a press release.
"The update, available for Android and Apple operating systems, incorporates tools that facilitate the customization and management of multiple accounts, device management, and automatic balance top-up, among other options," it notes.
New facilities
According to the development team of the technology department of RD Vial, among the main functions of the Paso Rápido application, there is also the creation of family accounts, adding or removing associated tags, activation and deactivation of devices, transfer of balance between devices and automatic recharge.
It also includes the ability to top up third-party balances, detailed consultation of events and transits by date, an updated toll map with prices, real-time notifications of top-ups, consumption and events, as well as the option to manage claims directly from the app.
The director of RD Vial, Jean Luis Rodríguez, highlighted the efforts to optimize the experience of citizens through more innovative and functional digital solutions.
