SANTO DOMINGO. - The De Valle Group , a financial consortium in the country, announced the construction of four new Super 8 by Wyndham hotels with an estimated investment of more than 25 million dollars, which will add 350 new accommodation units to the local hotel system.
The municipalities of Río San Juan, Cabrera, Cotuí and La Vega are the areas where the facilities will be built, the result of a strategic alliance between the Valle Group and the companies Mr. Home Asesores Inmobiliarios, Constructora Hotelera Provalle and Ophdom, one of the country's leading local hotel management companies
According to a statement from the group, the four projects will generate more than 600 jobs in each municipality during their construction phase.
"These new facilities will be part of the more than 15 Super 8 hotels that are under development or construction within the De Valle Group 's Vision 2030 , which is to build a hotel 30 minutes from every city in the Dominican Republic," explains the press release.
Super 8 by Wyndham , also known as Super 8 , is a hotel chain that manages an extensive network of hotels worldwide, exceeding 4,000 properties.
Businessman Edward De Valle II , CEO of the De Valle Group , highlighted the impact that the new Super 8 hotels on boosting tourism in the aforementioned municipalities.
"The hotels will have between 70 and 100 standard rooms and two-bedroom suites each, including options for families, business groups and couples," explained De Valle II.
Henry Veloz , president of the Provalle Hotel Company, which is the construction company for the four projects, said that the new Super 8 hotels will have modern technology , restaurants, a bar and charging stations for electric vehicles.
For his part, Juan Estévez, one of the leaders of Mr Home, highlighted the importance of their alliance with the De Valle Group to boost tourism in the Dominican Republic.

Amaury Díaz , executive partner of the construction company Hotelera Provalle, said that the new hostels will be ready to begin operations in the summer of 2026.
