The Dominican Republic was recognized with three gold awards and other accolades during the 2025 Travvy Awards, held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center, as part of CruiseWorld.
These awards, voted exclusively by travel advisors, confirm the country's leadership in the region and its position as a preferred destination in the Caribbean.
Among the most relevant awards, the Dominican Republic won gold as "Best Caribbean Destination" and "Best Caribbean Gastronomic Destination," consolidating its leadership not only for its institutional and commercial positioning, but also for the overall quality of the experience it offers visitors: spectacular beaches, vibrant culture, flavor, service, and authenticity.
Additionally, the country was also awarded gold as "Best Tourism Office in the Caribbean," one of the most strategic categories of the competition, which recognizes the work of promotion, presence, communication, innovation and support to the trade channel.
In addition, the Dominican Republic was recognized with silver in the categories: Best Cruise Destination in the Caribbean and Best Honeymoon Destination in the Caribbean, as well as with bronze as Best Wedding Destination in the Caribbean.

The Dominican Republic continues to strengthen its offerings and diversify experiences, with new hotel openings and a strategy focused on increasing the value and differentiation of the destination in priority markets.
