SANTO DOMINGO.- The Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) held its CBR 02 certification course, "Real Estate Training and Management for New Agents," from August 9 to 13, in which a group of brokers interested in learning about the dynamics of the sector participated.
For 20 hours, in a virtual format, a group of experts in different areas of the real estate industry made their knowledge and experiences available to the associates on how to improve their work in the market.
Ilonka Castillo, Isaías Medina, Alenny Garabito, Teresa Pérez de Peralta, Rafael González, Indhira Desangles, Paola Simó, Iván Guerrero, Elizabeth Silver and Marbel Lugo were responsible for facilitating the new learning.

The repertoire of topics included: How to overcome objection barriers and sell, how to successfully start a real estate business, the 4Ps of real estate marketing, first home, resale, low-cost housing, land, acquisition, sale and marketing of commercial properties, second home, beach and mountain properties.
The course also covered what a real estate agent needs to know to handle rentals in the Dominican Republic, including legal aspects and steps to safeguard their security. Module five addressed construction methods and finishes, and concluded with a keynote address titled "Selling in the Rain," presented by motivational coach Felipe Rodríguez.
