SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Association of Tourism and Real Estate Companies (ADETI) elected, during its Ordinary General Assembly, the new board of directors that will lead the entity in the period 2026-2028.
In a press release, the union announced that the new president is businessman Andrés Marranzini Grullón , representative of the Punta Bergantín Trust.
The organization also detailed that the board will include Claudia Henríquez (Cap Cana), Yudith Castillo (Grupo Puntacana), Juan Velázquez (Costasur / Casa de Campo), and Laura Troncoso (Playa Grande Golf & Ocean Club), who will serve as vice presidents. Meanwhile, Cruz Apestegui (Rincón Bay) and Tania Ramírez (Terra RD Partners, INICIA's asset manager) will assume the roles of secretary and treasurer, respectively.
The board members will be William Phelan (Tropicalia), Luis Enrique Fajardo (Grupo Velutini), Jesús Durán (Playa Nueva Romana), Luis José Asilis (Metro Country Club), Ángel Pérez (Club Hemingway), Abraham Amín Selman (Green One Playa Dorada), Eduardo Hermana (Cana Rock), and Francisco Gómez (Kaynoa). Meanwhile, Michael Lugo Risk will continue to serve as executive director, according to the statement.
During the Assembly, the association indicated in the communication sent, that it renewed its commitment to the promotion and development of real estate tourism in the Dominican Republic, highlighting it as an essential component within the diversification of national tourism.
The text also notes that the entity maintains its focus on strengthening a high-quality complementary offering and on promoting the trust and legal security that the country offers to drive new projects.
The institutional message also includes the words of the newly elected president, Andrés Marranzini, who stated: “I appreciate the vote of confidence and reaffirm my commitment to representing the sector through institutional strengthening, the creation of strategic synergies, and support for attracting new investments that contribute to the country's economic development.”.
