SANTO DOMINGO. – President Luis Abinader announced that he delivered more than 800 property titles , to families in the municipalities of Santo Domingo East and Santo Domingo West. He also announced that his government plans to deliver an additional 75,000 titles nationwide next year.
The president also inaugurated the renovation of areas of the National Assets , the State Sugar Council (CEA) and the Dominican Corporation of State Enterprises (Corde) .
The land titling project implemented benefits the following sectors in Santo Domingo East: Los Frailes, Los Mameyes, Maquiteria, Los Minas, Brisas del Este, Blocks A, B, C, and D; La Católica, Laura Marie, Miguelina, Roselyn, and Susan I, II, and III. In Santo Domingo West, are included: Los Alcarrizos, Nuevo Horizonte, 24 de Abril, El Libertador, Los Libertadores, Barrio Landia, Chavón, Pueblo Nuevo, Invi, and Obras Públicas.

During the event, Abinader emphasized that his administration aims to transform the Dominican Republic into a nation of homeowners . In this regard, he praised the work of Duarte Méndez , as well as Rafael Burgos Gómez, director of National Assets and the State Sugar Council (CEA) .
additional 75,000 land titles are projected to be issued next year corresponding to lands belonging to the National Assets Ministry and the State Agricultural Extension Service (CEA). “Mark this down, because we have to fulfill that commitment,” he emphasized.
He expressed that this is one of the activities that inspires him most and the greatest satisfaction . “Delivering a property title is delivering justice. It's a true social change, a true economic change. Few actions have such a comprehensive impact as this,” he stated.
The president congratulated the new property owners, noting that with the delivery of their titles, the value of their properties could triple . “Today you leave with your title in hand, with your legal representation, and we leave even more motivated to continue bringing this benefit to the entire country,” he concluded.
In addition to the awarding of degrees, the event included a tour of the renovated facilities of National Assets, the CEA and Corde .

The Director General of National Assets and Honorary Executive Director of the State Sugar Council, Rafael Burgos Gómez , highlighted the completion of the National Census of State Assets carried out in 2023 and 2024, which yielded data on 42,000 properties of the Dominican State worth 40 trillion pesos . He added that this data is four times greater than the country's gross domestic product (GDP), and that these properties are registered in the institution's archives.

Speaking on behalf of the titleholders was Ramón Enrique Alvarado Rodríguez , who expressed that this is a memorable day for more than 800 families from different social strata and neighborhoods of the country, to whom the president brought a light of hope and tranquility , holding their property title in their hands.
With this new delivery through the National Titling Plan , the Dominican Government continues to move closer to its ambitious goal of delivering more than 100,000 property titles nationwide.
