SANTO DOMINGO.- At six in the afternoon, the top management of Noval Properties, along with their teams, dressed in the glamour that the occasion demanded, awaited the arrival of the guests summoned for the evening's event.

The Grand Ballroom of the Catalonia Hotel was transformed with tropical charms in keeping with the Noval brand, which promotes the unparalleled Caribbean beauty in its spectacular properties, that which offers its particular sand, with dazzling beaches and the hot sun that seduces thousands of visitors to this, the land of merengue.
Recreating the settings of famous awards ceremonies for major celebrities, a red carpet awaited the catwalks of real estate divas and heartthrobs, who, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of property sales, responded to the call of the second edition of the "Real Estate Oscar".

“I admire Noval Properties because it’s the company that places the most importance on real estate agents; they make our lives easier. I wish them much success and hope they continue to count on us because those who love the sector need our support,” said the unique and one-of-a-kind Alenny Garabito upon her entrance.
A group of six hostesses were stationed early in the morning by the company Newlink Dominicana, which was in charge of the overall setup of the event, to welcome the more than 700 guests, including the long list of real estate firms, industry leaders, special guests and representatives of the industry, invited to share the special meeting.

A glass of exquisite Cava welcomed guests to the Grand Gala, where two main areas were set up: one for the awards ceremony and the other for socializing. Of course, a 360-degree camera was also on hand for a massive photo op and modeling session, especially for the women showcasing their outfits.

In the space set up for the occasion, two bars were placed, along with several stations offering fine snacks for the guests to enjoy. At no time were there a large group of waiters constantly bringing trays full of top-quality drinks.

When the appointed time for the evening arrived, and everything was impeccably arranged, the first guests appeared. From that moment on, the procession grew, as did the murmur of the crowd, who took the opportunity to catch up with a warm hug, a conversation, a selfie, and even a bit of coworking, because sales never sleep.

At 8:30 PM, hosts and spouses Joel López and Liza Blanco appeared on stage to kick off the evening and write the lines of a new chapter in the history of the Dominican real estate industry.
César Latrilla, CEO of Noval Properties, was the first to be called to the stage to welcome those present. He highlighted the elegance and glamour of what he described as a very special night. “First, because we are launching new projects, and second, because today we are recognizing the best in the country.”.

In a brief and concise speech, he reviewed the brand's five years, recalling the first time they presented their first project in the Dominican Republic. "Since then, many things have happened, we have grown tremendously, and it is the country's leading development company thanks to you," the executive stated.
He added: “In 2018 we timidly began to plant the seed, in 2019 everything made sense, in 2020, when everything seemed wonderful, Covid arrived and the economies closed and everything turned gray, in 2021 the world changed, we came out of the pandemic and it was the moment when people began to cultivate the art of knowing how to live,” he reflected.

Despite the turmoil caused by the rumblings of war between Russia and Ukraine and the government actions taken, Latrilla describes 2022 as the company's best year ever. "We've had the best year in our history.".
The outlook suggests that inflation will continue to rise in 2023, but the CEO is confident and determined that Noval Properties will make the right decisions to turn the market around and move forward.
He concluded his speech on a high note. “We will do something extraordinary, unrepeatable; we are going to launch new projects,” he declared, adding that by 2023 they would be enjoying the luxury of Cap Cana, climbing the mountains of Jarabacoa, strolling through the natural beauty of Las Terrenas, and finally arriving in the Dominican capital with renewed energy.

The firm projects 5,500 homes next year, with an estimated investment of 1.2 billion, of which it assures 60 million will remain in the hands of real estate agents through commissions.
Lorena Sevilla, sales director of Punta Cana, presented the River Island project in that tourist area, while Iris Espinal, director of the North Zone, referred to Silver Beach, the eye-catching project that will be built on the beachfront in the very fashionable area of Las Terrenas, Samaná.
At 9:00 PM it was time to reveal the winners, with the presentation of the awards in the different categories, which we published in another text of this same edition.
After the awards ceremony, the infectious and traditional December rhythm of Conjunto Quisqueya resounded on the stage, inviting the dancers to join in, expressing gratitude for a new edition of the “Noval Awards”, which they hope to hold with much greater enthusiasm next year.
