SANTO DOMINGO- The Codia Institutional Committee (CIC) presented a certificate of recognition to the president of the Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA), engineer Carlos Mendoza, at an event held in a restaurant in the capital.
During the activity, Mendoza was accompanied by engineers Enrique Rosario and Alejandro García García, treasurer and secretary of Minutes and Correspondence of CODIA, respectively.
Engineer Aníbal Rincón, president of the CIC, gave the main speech at the event, in which he highlighted the history and contributions of the Committee, as well as the persistent efforts it makes to achieve the payment of a debt of 336 million pesos that the State maintains with 82 contractors.
For his part, engineer Samuel Peña highlighted the reasons that motivated the recognition, emphasizing Mendoza's professional career, his union leadership, and his firm support for the institutional causes defended by the CIC.
Architect Emiliano Familia was in charge of reading the parchment of recognition, which was presented along with engineer Rincón to the president of CODIA.
Mendoza thanked them for the gesture and expressed his commitment to continue working to dignify the professional practice and defend the interests of the union.
Also present at the event on behalf of the CIC Strategy Commission were engineers Ovidio Rosario, Eugenio Matos, Ruddy Celedonio and Miguel Liberato.
