SANTO DOMINGO. -The Real Estate Registry announced that it is keeping open the call for interested parties to submit their comments, observations and suggestions regarding the “technical provision on receipt and delivery to the Registry of Titles”.
The call is made through the National Directorate of Title Registration and, according to information published on the institution's official website, will be available for public review until November 26, 2025 , as part of the open consultation process that promotes the participation of different actors in the country's real estate and registration sector.
This technical provision aims to establish the criteria and procedures applicable to the registration and cancellation of cautionary notices and provisional registrations in the Registry of Titles. Its purpose is to optimize internal processes and ensure a more efficient, transparent, and uniform service throughout the country.
The Real Estate Registry highlighted that this measure directly contributes to the unification of registration practices and the strengthening of legal certainty, fundamental pillars for the modernization of the registration system and the development of the Dominican real estate market.
During the public consultation period, professionals in the sector, users of the registration system and interested citizens are invited to review the content of the document available on the institutional website and submit their formal contributions through the link enabled next to the text.
Once the process of receiving comments has ended, the National Directorate of Title Registration will proceed to evaluate and analyze the comments received, with the purpose of incorporating the relevant improvements into the final version of the technical provision before its official publication.
