President Luis Abinader delivered 2,100 property titles yesterday, Friday, in the municipal district of La Guáyiga, which will directly impact the same number of families in this area.
The work was carried out on plot 10 of Cadastral District 31, in the municipality of Pedro Brand.
The titles delivered are for people who are located in the sectors Los Coquitos I and II, El Progreso, Los Palmares and Las Flores.
Of the total number of property titles, 956 certificates remained pending, bringing the total to 3,056.
Speaking during the ceremony, the president indicated that the degree is not just a document, but a passport to dignity, progress, and equal opportunities.

Degree Director
In his speech, the executive director of the Land Titling Implementing Unit, Duarte Méndez, explained that to make this dream a reality, the Technical Implementing Unit, together with the State Sugar Council, worked on a geographical area of 478,911.60 square meters.
With this action, the beneficiaries save a total of 244,480,000 pesos, since if they had decided to carry out the corresponding work privately they would have had to pay at least RD 80,000 for each house or plot of land.
Present were Governor Lucrecia Leyba; the municipal director of La Guáyiga, Mirtha Pérez; the director of the National Cadastre, Héctor Mirambeaux; Francisco García from the Agrarian Institute; and Rafael Burgos from National Assets.
