SANTO DOMINGO.- Real estate agents across the country have expressed their grief upon learning of the death of José Ramón Hernández, CEO and founder of the real estate company La Comarca, who died along with his colleague Ingrid Fernández early Saturday morning as they were returning from Punta Cana to Santiago de los Caballeros.
"We deeply regret the passing of our colleague, friend and brother José Ramón Hernández of La Comarca Real Estate," posted the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies, AEI North Zone, of which he was a member of its board of directors.

From the AEI East Zone, its executive director, Osmán González, extended his condolences to the family of Hernández, given his sudden passing, which leaves two children orphaned and his wife widowed.
The CEO InmobiliarioRD Community joined in mourning the passing of the founder of Inmobiliaria La Comarca, wishing that God may comfort all his family and loved ones.

Lisette Del Monte, CEO of Infinity Group, also commented: "How sad, an excellent colleague. On behalf of our company and the entire sales team, we extend our sincerest condolences to his wife and family.".
"The real estate sector is in mourning," wrote Reyna Echenique, commenting that the news shocked the entire sector, while also offering condolences to the family.
Élite House expressed their sorrow at Hernández's passing. "José was a great friend of ours, and we extend our deepest condolences to all the members of La Comarca and to all his family.".

"What a sad Sunday. May he rest in peace, dear friend," commented Artigiano Real Estate.
"It's a shame to read this news. May he rest in peace and may his family find strength. José was an excellent professional," commented Jennifer Ramírez of Mr Home.
"We deeply regret what happened to José and Ingrid. The real estate sector is very saddened. May they rest in peace," texted Verolín de León of Ratal Home.
