SANTO DOMINGO.- Huacachina, the Peruvian-owned real estate developer that has been making a huge investment in the eastern region of the country for more than two years, was recently awarded the title of best company in the Caribbean 2025.
Likewise, Ismael Rubio Marcovich, CEO of the brand, was recognized as the best real estate entrepreneur in the Caribbean. The company, with over 15 years in the Peruvian market, is one of the major investors to have entered the Dominican Republic in recent times, having acquired more than 5 million square meters in the La Otra Banda Municipal District of Higüey, La Altagracia province, the country's main tourist area.
“I am very honored to have received an award of this caliber for the company. We have been in the real estate market in our country for many years, and I am very commended that we have obtained this international recognition,” Ismael told El Inmobiliario.
The awards were presented by the Latin American Quality Institute during an awards ceremony held last week in El Salvador, which promotes business excellence, sustainable development, and innovation in Latin America.
Projects
The company, a pioneer in real estate development in the ICA region of Peru, has sold more than 800 villas and around 2,000 plots of land to date on properties acquired in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic, where they plan to remain for 20 years.
“Huacachina’s greatest asset is the security and trust we offer the market. I want you to hear ‘Huacachina’ and think, ‘Hey, this is a serious company that delivers on its promises,’” says CEO Ismael Rubio Marcovich.
