In the municipality of Quisqueya , San Pedro de Macorís, President Luis Abinader delivery of 1,700 property titles this weekend , directly impacting 6,800 people .
This is the first delivery of certificates in this area, which further expands the national coverage of this titling plan that brings security and homeownership to Dominican families, a press release highlights.
“This is for the benefit of all. Together we will continue building a country where every woman and every man feels supported, where every household has a place in the formal economy, and where social justice is not just poetry or an ideal, but a tangible reality as it is today,” the president stated.
He added that with the goal of continuing to allow citizens to access formal property ownership 300,000 title certificates will have been delivered by the end of this government period

Meanwhile, UTECT's executive director, Duarte Méndez , reiterated that every achievement of this project is thanks to the government's prioritization and support in ensuring that beneficiaries obtain their degree free of charge.
On this occasion, their total savings amounted to RD 136 million and the geographical area covered was 394,186.59 square meters.
