Arajet and Banreservas establish an alliance to facilitate travel abroad for Dominicans

SANTO DOMINGO. - Arajet announced yesterday an alliance with Banreservas to improve the travel experience of its customers with a 20% refund and an additional complimentary checked bag for those who pay for tickets with a debit or credit card from the financial institution.

“We are happy to offer Dominicans the possibility of obtaining even more benefits when using their Banreservas cards at arajet.com , ” said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of the airline.

“Banreservas and Arajet share the vision of democratizing the skies and making it easier and more affordable for Dominicans to travel,” he said.

The Banreservas and Arajet alliance is exclusive to purchases made through the Arajet.com website , from June 2nd to 16th, and applicable to the 17 destinations in 12 countries on the Arajet itinerary, as well as its 44 connecting flights.

Ticket sales Santiago-Medellín begin

Pacheco also noted that starting today, tickets for the new Santiago de los Caballeros–Medellín route are available on promotion from $70 per trip (including taxes and fees) until June 8, with two departures on Mondays and Thursdays.

“I invite everyone in the Cibao region to try our new planes and experience a service that will make them feel right at home on their next trip from Santiago to Medellín with Arajet,” he said. The new route will begin operating on July 17.

It claims to have the best rates and new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft that save 14% more fuel than single-aisle aircraft available in the regional market, and reduce noise pollution by 40%.
