SANTIAGO. - Achieving success in the real estate sector, as in so many other areas of life and the market, depends on the ability to "adjust the sails of the business" .
This was announced by Pedro Dipp, during the conference “Adjusting the sails of the real estate business: A guide to navigate towards success in the changing real estate market” , held yesterday at the Centro León, in Santiago de los Caballeros.
During her presentation, she stressed that real estate agents must understand that the market is constantly evolving and that, given this dynamic, continuous updating is not optional, but a necessity.
ProEstate real estate group , which organized the training day, highlighted the importance of identifying trends and indicators of change in the business, as key to consolidating itself as a "reference of trust" in the sector.
He explained that this is achieved when one works with tenacity, perseverance, and when innovation is incorporated as a fundamental element.
Dipp, who has 38 years of experience, explained that "the winds of change" know how to recognize the signs. "Gentlemen, your children are talking to you, your wife is talking to you, your friends are talking to you, your business is talking to you," he said to illustrate.
Amid these signs, he indicated that it is crucial to "adjust the sails" because that is when new buyer trends arrive and when technology evolves , making it necessary to know what is new and how to apply it at work.
In front of more than 100 real estate agents who participated in this meeting, the real estate advisor alluded to what engineer Rafael Durán had said about how legislative modifications always deserve to be studied and implemented by real estate professionals.
“When that law came in 2011, it changed the business. It turned it upside down, both positively and negatively. Great captains don't lose in the storm; they learn to navigate it,” he said.
Pedro revealed that, currently, businesses operating within the real estate market have become a "digital marketing business" .
In that sense, he considered it essential to understand and work with the customer with "talent." Likewise, "to know what they want, how they want it, when they want it, and how much they want it for.".
He also stated that professionals must learn to "unfurl the sails of their brand," possess an authentic identity , and have a multi-platform presence where the public can access the shared content.
