SANTO DOMINGO.- The construction company Vaherra celebrated its fifth anniversary of operations in the country.
In an event led by its founder and CEO, Carlos Vargas Herrera, the construction company shared with allies, clients, collaborators and special guests the milestones achieved since its inception and the new challenges that will mark its evolution in the coming years.
During his speech, the executive expressed that the anniversary represents not only a business achievement, but also the realization of a family dream.
He recalled the beginnings of the company, when—as a mere Civil Engineering student—he decided to launch his first real estate project in Greater Santo Domingo, 'Vientos del Este', taking risks that many considered premature.
However, he noted that discipline, faith, and a deep sense of purpose were the pillars that allowed his vision to take shape.
The young entrepreneur highlighted the influence of his father, Carlos Vargas, and his grandfather, Samuel Herrera, figures who shaped his character and his passion for building more than just buildings: building legacy, opportunities, and transformation. In their honor—and the values they instilled—the name Vaherra was born, an acronym of Vargas Herrera.
Vargas Herrera emphasized that, for the company, building means investing in the future, in the country, and in the ability to transform spaces into livable dreams. He acknowledged that every advance the company has made possible thanks to the support of its employees and the commitment of an exceptional team.
“The best of Vaherra is yet to be built,” said Vargas Herrera, reaffirming that this fifth anniversary is just the beginning of a stage of greater expansion and growth.
