SANTO DOMINGO. – The new Casa Balena housing project was presented in Santo Domingo. This residential complex will be developed in Las Terrenas, Samaná, with a proposal aimed at both families and investors looking to acquire a property in an expanding tourist area.
The official launch took place on Tuesday, June 11th in the main hall of The Box, in Arroyo Hondo, where the developers offered the design and construction details of the project to real estate advisors and representatives of the sector.
Casa Balena will consist of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as two-story duplex villas with two and three bedrooms. The buildings will be constructed with reinforced concrete and concrete blocks, concrete roofs, and finishes in imported porcelain and ceramic tiles, as reported during the presentation by Judith Félix of Modern Properties, the company in charge of marketing the project.
He explained that the project includes various common areas, among them a swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, gym, parking, storage, and family recreation areas. It will be located five minutes from the beach, in an environment that combines the natural tranquility of the area with modern infrastructure.
According to its developers, the project offers payment plans for buyers. Units can be reserved with an initial deposit of US$5,000, the contract signing will require 10% of the total value, 30% will be paid during the construction process, and the remaining 60% upon delivery of the property.
Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2025. The apartments are expected to be delivered in January 2027, while the villas will be ready in August of that same year.
The developers indicated that Casa Balena arises as a response to the demand for housing spaces in tourist destinations, and highlighted that its design and location make it an option with high investment value in the medium and long term.
