SANTO DOMINGO - Reid & Compañía SA introduced to the national market a hydraulic excavator model 100% manufactured in Japan, which has a powerful engine and greater digging force and support functions for fuel saving.
Engineer Stalin Pérez Muñoz, Sales Business Manager for Reid & Company Equipment, explained that the Komatsu PC360-8M2 has a monitoring system for real-time equipment management with Komtrax.
He reiterated that this equipment is 100% manufactured in Japan with increased productivity to ensure that the cost per ton/hour is the lowest during its daily operating hours.
Muñoz highlighted that the excavator has an extended warranty of 36 to 60 months included with the purchase of the unit, in order to meet the needs of the customer.
Similarly, Pérez Muñoz pointed out that the PC360-8M2 has a maximum excavation reach and depth, which positions it as a piece of equipment specially designed to perform heavy work in quarries and mines.
"Their function is to carry out large-scale trench excavation operations, move large-volume materials and structures in large or medium-sized constructions without limitations on operations.".
A press release highlights that the new product is aimed at the construction and mining sectors.
"Its benefits include increasing engine power by up to 10%, maximizing productivity in tons/hour, compliance with ROPS/OPG level 1 safety standards, LED lights, and a reversing camera.".
In addition, the press release says, it features blow-by pressure detection, a hydraulic oil obstruction sensor, and high rigidity of the working equipment (with a reinforcing plate and supports for the hydraulic pipes) (6.0 m boom and 2.6 m arm).
