The tenth edition of the Latin American Real Estate Congress arrives in the Dominican Republic

SANTO DOMINGO – The Dominican Republic will host the 10th Latin American Real Estate Congress 2025, a renowned real estate event in Latin America organized by the Latin American Real Estate Confederation (CILA). The event will take place from August 24 to 27, 2025, at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana.

The Dominican Republic's Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) will be present as the host organization for the event. Its president, Alberto Bogaert, emphasized that this congress represents a unique opportunity for the country and the industry. “It is an honor to host this major international gathering, which will bring together agents, businesspeople, financial and government entities, as well as speakers from various continents. Our nation will be the epicenter of the Latin American real estate sector during those days,” he stated.

Furthermore, the event will also include the 6th AEI International Congress, adding the area of business and innovation in real estate in the region. “We will not only be hosting the 10th CILA Congress, but also the 6th AEI International Congress, making this the most important event for the real estate industry both locally and in Latin America,” Bogaert emphasized.

The event will serve as a key space for training, networking, and updates on global market trends. Its previous edition, held in Ecuador, drew over 300 attendees and featured some 20 speakers, solidifying its position as an essential forum for real estate professionals, according to a press release from the AEI.

CILA

The Latin American Real Estate Confederation (CILA) is a private organization that brings together the main real estate associations of 18 countries, representing more than 700,000 real estate brokers and companies.

Its mission is to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector internationally, promoting strategic alliances and favorable conditions for industry professionals in the region.

Bogaert noted that the Dominican Republic has been a member of CILA since 2014 and has played a key role within the confederation, holding the vice presidency in 2020 and 2023. “The country has demonstrated its leadership and commitment to the development of the real estate sector, and the selection of our nation as the venue for this congress is a recognition of that effort,” he emphasized.
