SANTO DOMINGO.- “It is more than proven that there is no better place to do business than a golf course,” says Mario Betances, who, based on this premise, holds a tournament every year, to which he invites the main construction companies and suppliers of the Dominican construction industry.
Construweekend has been bringing together the best companies supplying products and services and the main construction clients of the Dominican Republic in one place for seven years, accompanied by good friends and a good atmosphere, says Betances.
This edition, organized by 2BG Marketing, will be held on September 10th of this year, from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon, at Punta Espada Golf Club, Cap Cana, Punta Cana.
“With this event we contribute to a better integration, unity and consolidation of the construction sector in the Dominican Republic,” says its organizer, who maintains that the main builders and suppliers of the sector in the country will participate in the event.
Its creator maintains that “Construweekend” is not a golf tournament, but rather a business meeting on a golf course. The 2022 edition will feature 120 players.
Posthumous tribute
Betances explains that this year's award ceremony will include a posthumous tribute to engineer María Gatón Hernández "Susy", for her outstanding career and great contributions to the construction sector.
“Every year we pay tribute to a great figure in construction, and this year it will be in memory of Doña Susi.”.
