President Luis Abinader 450 property titles last Saturday to benefit 2,404 people in the municipal district of Las Clavellinas, in the province of Azua .
Addressing the beneficiaries, the head of state announced that tens of thousands of titles will be delivered throughout the country next year, to bring the happiness that those who received them today have.
He called on the beneficiaries to take care of their titles because from the moment they were handed over, their properties tripled in value.
"But, in addition, you will be able to build a second floor for your family, to rent it out, or to start a small business in the front, because you are now entering the formalization of the economy," he said.
He reiterated the importance of this project because it changes the lives of the beneficiaries.
He said that the delivery was made on this date because it is the best gift for the beneficiary families.
"So, this is the gift we bring for Christmas and also for the New Year. And take care of your titles; take care of your property because now it truly is yours and you can do all those things I told you about," he said.

The complete project will deliver titles to 601 beneficiaries , in a geographical area of 615,279.79 square meters.
This process saved a total of RD 48,080,000.00 for the beneficiaries, said the director of the State Land Titling Technical Unit (Utect), Duarte Méndez .
"If you had decided to carry out the work privately, you would have had to pay at least RD 80,000.00 for each house or plot of land you occupy, and today you will receive them free of charge from our president, Luis Abinader," he said.
He highlighted that, with those delivered this Saturday, the total number of beneficiaries in the province of Azua is 9,824, who received the property certificates for their land.
Méndez announced that they are working to deliver another 4,317 new titles in this province in 2025.
