SANTO DOMINGO. -The National Office of Seismic Evaluation and Vulnerability of Infrastructure and Buildings ( Onesvie ), reported that in the most recent evaluation of the Index of Use of Information Technologies and Implementation of Digital Government (iTICge) , it positioned itself within the Top 10 of more than 200 public institutions evaluated , reaching the maximum score ( 100% ) in the innovation pillar.
The entity highlighted the score in other areas: Use of ICT (76.80%) , implementation of digital government (86.47%) , e-participation (90.00%) and online services (79.80%) .
The CEO of Onesvie, Engineer Leonardo Reyes Madera , valued these advances as a demonstration of the institutional commitment to transparency, modernization and public efficiency , in line with the Digital Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) .
Technological advances and NORTIC certifications
A press release from the entity highlights that the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) department led the recertification processes in the NORTIC A2 Standard on Dominican State web portals and the certification in the NORTIC A4 Standard on government interoperability.
"These certifications reaffirm the commitment of the technology area to institutional strengthening through the use of digital tools that optimize internal processes, facilitate the secure exchange of information with other public entities and promote more efficient management," the entity points out.
Innovation at the service of infrastructure
Onesvie explains that with the modernization of its institutional portal, it offers a more interactive, accessible and citizen-oriented platform that integrates information on projects, services and digital seismic assessment tools, strengthening access to information and institutional transparency.
Furthermore, the implementation of government interoperability allows the institution to exchange data in real time and in a standardized way with other State entities, contributing to a more coordinated, agile and evidence-based public management.
