A 44-story building that will begin construction this year will be the first in Miami whose 654 furnished apartments can be rented 365 days a year through the Airbnb platform, according to a statement released this Friday.
The West Eleventh Residences project, located in the center of this city, is an initiative of the American group PMG, Lion Development Group, based in Miami, and Marc Roberts Companies, and will offer owners a fully centralized management to facilitate this type of rental.
Currently, apartments in Miami buildings can only be rented through Airbnb for half the year.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of West Eleventh Residences. Demand for short-term rental properties with on-site support for seamless accommodation is high in South Florida, especially in downtown Miami,” said Ryan Shear, managing partner of PMG, regarding the project.
The developers of West Eleventh Residences have reached an agreement with the City of Miami to make it the first tower in Miami to offer the possibility of short-term rentals year-round.
Building staff will assist owners in creating customized listings with services ranging from writing the description to offering professional photography.
Residents of West Eleventh Residences will have access to more than 20,000 square feet (6,000 square meters) of amenity space, including a pool, private lounges, a gym, a wellness center, and a restaurant.
PMG has developed projects in New York and others such as Echo Brickell and Mei, and Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami in South Florida.
