Cultural Scaffolding Iconic Buildings at Christmas

Iconic buildings at Christmas

The spirit of Christmas pervades cities around the world. Architectural monuments are adorned in their finest decorations to welcome winter tourists, who seek more than just a historic building.

There are some cities that even become places that could easily have come straight out of a movie. Alsace, in France, is a prime example. This region transforms into a Christmas tale, offering its visitors a wonderful memory.

We suggest five iconic buildings to visit at Christmas. Ornamental elements, lights, and even a little snow (real or artificial) can make the place we all see on postcards magical.

Eiffel Tower – France

Oh, the city of love. Can you imagine strolling through the gardens surrounding the majestic structure as it begins to light up? This monument already boasts spectacular lighting year-round, but at Christmas, they introduce some special touches to suit the season. You'll have to visit to see what surprises await this year.

In addition, there are Christmas markets scattered throughout the city. And let's not forget the ice rinks and attractions for children. Visiting the City of Lights at Christmas is a great way to experience its architecture from a different perspective.

Times Square – New York

In the city of skyscrapers, we can't choose just one iconic building, but when we think of Christmas, the countdown to the new year immediately comes to mind. Oh, and Marie Carey singing Christmas carols.

But if we focus on the architecture, all the buildings that make up Times Square are impressive on their own, but if we add a Christmas touch it becomes an irresistible destination.
