PUNTA CANA, LA ALTAGRACIA PROVINCE – Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technological reality that we live with. It allows us to streamline data reception processes, develop proposals for projects of any kind in companies, improve communication and entertainment, and even, negatively, facilitate identity theft.
However, economist and PMO manager of Cruise On Land, Hernando Gómez, warns that the new digital tool should not be feared.
Gómez gave a lecture entitled “Leadership Transformation in the Digital Age,” during the launch of Mujer de Concreto magazine, the new publication of the El InmobiliarioMedia Group, which took place at the Four Points hotel in Punta Cana, on Saturday, March 8.
The leader of Cruise On Land reminded the representatives of the real estate sector present at the event that companies and Industry 5.0 already exist, along with the advances in digitalization in all private and public areas of humanity.
“Centuries ago, transformations, changes, and adaptation to the new took centuries. Now, technology allows those changes to last only decades or even less. These are realities we cannot ignore and that we are compelled to accept and transform for our benefit,” he explained.
He encouraged entrepreneurs and developers to create an artificial intelligence department in their companies to achieve more efficient strengthening and innovation processes.

“The offerings of these technology giants have applicability in all sectors of knowledge and business,” stated the Colombian professional.
He added that the real estate and tourism sector must be aware that Industry 5.0 exists and that the evolution of the machine revolution (AI) is transforming the world faster than any other revolution of the 20th century.
He stated that there are important challenges that accompany the Fifth Industrial Revolution, such as human-machine collaboration and how to ensure that AI has limits that do not threaten the human species.
He invited people to learn about the latest technological advances with the aim of achieving transformations in leadership, innovation, efficiency, and saving time and resources.
Finally, in a nostalgic vein, he reminded those present that the Robocop television series and The Jetsons cartoon are not simply science fiction, but are currently part of this 5.0 present
