SANTO DOMINGO - The ExpoHogar Banreservas 2025 , held throughout the month of July, announced that it concluded with financing exceeding 7 billion pesos, which allowed the acquisition of more than 1,300 properties, mostly for home purchases.
The bank stated that during the course of the business activity there were more than 30 billion pesos in applications, which were reviewed, resulting in the sale of 1,362 properties throughout the country, mostly homes, with interest rates starting at 7.84%.
Banreservas explained that during ExpoHogar, some 6,850 applications , ending with the closing of 1,220 homes, 70 plots of land, and 72 commercial premises.
Samuel Pereyra, CEO of Banreservas, said that this fair represents the main boost to construction in the Dominican Republic and an example of trust and security for buyers who dream of purchasing a property in their homeland.
“ExpoHogar Banreservas has become the main driving force behind the construction sector, guaranteeing its dynamism and the development of the Dominican economy. It also helps more and more Dominicans achieve their dream of owning their own home,” Pereyra said, evaluating the results of this year’s expo.
The bank executive highlighted the support that the Dominican people give to this fair and the confidence that citizens have in Banreservas' products and services.
This year, Banreservas has held several real estate fairs, such as those in Spain, New York, and Lawrence, through which hundreds of Dominicans residing abroad acquired properties throughout the country, with financing exceeding 4 billion pesos.
