Echenique Academy was born out of the real estate sector's need for training and education in the legal and real estate field. "Through our academy, we will provide both new and experienced real estate agents and agencies with our legal knowledge applied to the real estate sector, as well as training in real estate and business.".
SANTO DOMINGO – The Echenique family is celebrating its portfolio of new developments. The relaunch of its brand, now under the name Echenique Group, has been accompanied by positive news that signals the strengthening of its company in the real estate sector and an increase in its quality in the Dominican market.
The presentation of the “Bambú Awards by Echenique” was the stage where the company shared the good news of the formation of the corporation under whose umbrella three companies will operate: Echenique & Asociados, Echenique Real Estate and Echenique Academy.

“Echenique & Associates, in order to continue providing our legal services to our personal and business clients, including real estate agencies, Echenique Real Estate, which previously operated as a real estate services brand of Echenique & Associates, will now have its own independent legal personality, to continue providing real estate services to our seller and buyer clients, with legal support as usual provided by the sister subsidiary Echenique y Asociados,” explains Reyna Echenique, CEO of the brand.
He explains that Echenique Academy was born out of the need for the real estate sector to receive training and education in the legal-real estate area.

“Through our academy, we will be providing and contributing to both new and experienced real estate agents and agencies our legal knowledge applied to the real estate sector, as well as training in the area of real estate and business,” says the experienced professional.
He explains that the formation of the new corporation arose from identifying that services were overlapping due to high customer demand. “We felt the need to do something; that's how the idea was born, and we launched the surprise that night of May 20th.”.
“This new stage we are experiencing signifies commitment, dedication and responsibility to and with the real estate sector in the Dominican Republic and with our collaborators,” Echenique affirms.
The awards ceremony
The Bambú Awards by Echenique, which recognized the achievements and efforts of the past year and the most outstanding agents, will be held annually with a different theme.
This year's awards included a special recognition for the construction company KAVAK SRL, for being pioneers in introducing the construction of towers on the San Isidro highway and contributing to the development of the area.
“The name ‘Bamboo Awards by Echenique’ comes from the need to give our awards a name that would identify us as a business brand. This plant called ‘Bamboo’ has a powerful message of learning: it works on itself, growing internally before emerging and showing its branches. That is precisely what we have done at Echenique: grow first within ourselves, work on ourselves, on our growth and development so that we can add value to others,” says Reyna Echenique.
The categories awarded were the following:
The "Colleague of the Year" award, given by all officers in a secret ballot, is given to the officer who demonstrated helpfulness, camaraderie, and unwavering support for all colleagues. This year, the award went to Officer Belkys Tavarez.

The 2021 Disciplined Agent award was given to Ricardo Moreno; the Blue Shirt, which takes into account commitment and corporate identity with the company's brand, was awarded to the married couple Elvys Pozo and Virginia Moreno; the Echenique Agent award was given to the agent who has demonstrated unlocking their full potential in real estate, who had been dormant in previous years and has awakened, turning their results around, or to the new agent who, without any experience, has achieved exponential results. Nora Echenique won the statuette for achieving extraordinary results in a short time.

The award for workplace excellence was presented to Yinercy Florián and Virginia Moreno for their commitment, responsibility, and outstanding work. First place in sales went to Pamela Frías, who achieved the highest sales volume in 2021, with over 40 closed deals totaling more than $7 million. Second place was awarded to Andrelle Bellanstron, while Nora Echenique and Samuel Frías tied for third place with over 25 closed sales each.

The moment was used to relaunch the company's corporate identity, which was handled by the Creative Empire Corp. Agency. "We also designed an exclusive logo for this event, a name and logo that have been legally registered as a trademark, thus contributing to the organization of Dominican businesses," says the CEO of Echenique Group.

Gustavo Adolfo was a guest artist, and there was also an hour of folk dancing that got everyone dancing to the rhythm of typical Dominican merengue
