SANTO DOMINGO. – Many citizens planning to purchase property use various sources to find out prices. In this regard, the National Statistics Office (ONE) released its latest report through the Building Supply Registry (ROE), corresponding to the second quarter of 2023.
According to the document accessed by El Inmobiliario, the municipality with the highest average price per square meter is Santo Domingo de Guzmán with RD$102,697 per square meter.
This municipality is followed by Santo Domingo Este with an average price of RD$59,098 per square meter.
For its part, Pedro Brand is the municipality with the lowest average price at RD$47,468 per square meter.
In this context, the sector with the highest average price is the exclusive Piantini area, in the National District, with RD$164,101 per square meter.
Next is Ensanche Paraíso with RD$148,663, Ensanche Naco with RD$139,467, La Esperilla with RD$123,580 and Bella Vista with RD$118,657 per square meter.
It should be noted that the ten sectors with the highest prices are located in the National District.
Meanwhile, within the areas with the greatest potential for construction, the lowest average prices are: Villa Mella (RD$44,664), Los Guaricanos (RD$46,711) and Las Caobas (RD$47,829) per square meter.
The individual construction area of all works in future offer amounts to 396,598 square meters, the immediate offer with 466,795 square meters and those sold, separated or reserved with 1,563,302.
While the percentage of homes on offer (8,977 units), according to the price range, shows that 33.1% have a cost of RD$3,000,001 to RD$5,000,000, 20.9% a cost of RD$3 million or less and 16.7% between RD$8,000,001 to RD$15,000,000.
