SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS - The Santa Ana housing complex, which will consist of 16 buildings to relocate families evicted from the blue neighborhood in Hatillo, in this district, was launched yesterday by President Luis Abinader, who visited this region for various government activities.
The project will be carried out by the Presidential Commission for Provincial Development Support, with an investment of 325 million and will benefit more than 50 families living in risky conditions on the banks of the Jaya River and will be relocated to the complex.
The Commission's president, Ángel De la Cruz, stated that the project represents a drastic change in the lives of these families, who will go from living in a dangerous area, due to the harsh weather conditions and constant flooding, to residing in their own apartment.

“Very soon the residents of Barrio Azul will have a decent place to live, as every citizen deserves.”.
De La Cruz also highlighted the transformation that Duarte province is undergoing, with the development of the 3R project (Recovery, Reengineering and Refurbishment) in the area, which has a positive impact on the quality of life of the people.
The residential complex will consist of 16 four-story apartment buildings, as well as an outdoor gym, children's play area, gazebo, social areas, and green spaces.
Each apartment will have a living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom, terrace, balcony and laundry area.
The exterior area will have access roads, 136 parking spaces for residents, another 18 for visitors, a treatment plant, sidewalks and curbs.
