SANTO DOMINGO. - The Cibao Savings and Loan Association announced its incorporation into the Unared ATM network, which will allow its clients to make withdrawals and inquiries without additional charges at nearly 2,000 ATMs nationwide.
José Luis Ventura, executive president of the Cibao Association, stated that joining the network allows clients access to their financial products throughout the country, which is a fundamental advantage for the democratization and agile and timely management of financial services.
"This integration into Unared will benefit millions of users with greater convenience and efficiency in their banking transactions. With this alliance, we reaffirm our commitment to accessibility and the expansion of service channels nationwide," the executive stated.
Unared is the first and largest ATM network in the Dominican Republic, consisting of a service agreement, initially signed in 2017, between Banreservas and Banco BHD, and to which the Popular Savings and Loan Association, Promérica, Banesco, Banco BDI, Banco Caribe, Banfondesa, Banco Ademi, Banco Santa Cruz, Banco López de Haro and the Cibao Association itself have been integrated.
