SANTO DOMINGO. - Through an agreement signed between the Dominican Medical Association (CMD) and the Dominican Mortgage Bank (BHD), doctors will be able to opt for mortgage loans for the acquisition and remodeling of homes.
The agreement offers doctors the opportunity to opt for mortgage loans for the purchase and remodeling of their homes with fixed rates from six months to five years .
Applicants will have benefits such as free appraisals during the first year of the agreement, waiver of payment penalties, early cancellation during the first two years, and differential legal fees for their mortgage loans.
Other options under the CMD-BHD agreement include holding a fair showcasing products and services with loans for vehicle purchases at preferential rates and conditions, lines of credit, and leasing for the acquisition of medical equipment, as highlighted by the digital portal Resumen de Salud.
Also included is the offer of credit cards such as the Women's Card, with waived issuance fees, as well as exclusive discounts of 15 percent on vehicle insurance policies from MAPFRE BHD Seguros and guidance on the use of financial products.
The agreement was signed between the executive vice president of Personal and Business Banking at BHD, Josefina González , and the president of the Dominican Medical Association, Waldo Suero.
Following the signing of the agreement, the BHD executive stated that the financial institution will continue to strengthen its non-financial value proposition for the health sector and the country's medical professionals.
Meanwhile, Waldo Suero, president of the national medical association, emphasized that, thanks to the agreement, doctors will have financial support to obtain their homes and other benefits, in addition to the recognition they deserve for their daily dedication and tireless work for the health of the Dominican population.
