SANTO DOMINGO - The Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) reported this Wednesday that the agent linked to an alleged irregularity against the communicator Laura Pérez Rojas is not a member of the guild.
The clarification comes after Pérez Rojas denounced, through his social networks, an alleged practice related to the withholding of a rental deposit.
On the social media accounts of Virna Reyes (@espacioinmobiliariord), the real estate broker states that she is a member of the AEI, which was denied this morning by the entity, through a statement signed by the board of directors of the association, which brings together more than 2,000 real estate agents.
“We hereby inform our membership, the real estate sector and the general public that Ms. Virna Reyes and the company VR Espacio Inmobiliario SRL are not members of the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies,” the information states.

On Monday, journalist Laura Pérez Rojas reported an alleged improper withholding of a rental deposit for a property rented in June of this year.
Pérez Rojas shared her testimony through Instagram, where she stated that the aforementioned agent, through her company, kept the deposits without authorization and has not returned them despite the passage of several months, alleging " unfounded excuses ," according to the communicator.
