SANTO DOMINGO. - The Dominican Association of Housing Builders and Developers (ACOPROVI) announced last night the tenth edition of its golf tournament, which aims to promote integration and networking among the main players in the construction sector, housing developers and related industries.
The sporting event, which has established itself as a key space for promoting sustainable economic development, business collaboration, and investment in a strategic sector such as construction, will be held on May 31 in Punta Espada, Cap Cana, and will bring together more than 300 people related to the sector in various planned activities.
“This edition of the ACOPROVI Golf Tournament is very special for us because it represents a decade of promoting integration and alliances in the construction sector. More than just a sporting event, it is also a key opportunity for business networking and supporting social development projects driven by ACOPROVI,” highlighted Annerys Meléndez, president of the association, during a cocktail reception held last night to provide details of the sporting event.

The tournament will be played in Scramble format, and promises to be one of the most memorable of the year with special prizes, more than 70 raffle prizes, various food and beverage stations, brand activations, and a special awards and closing ceremony, where the builder's grand prize will be awarded, which last year included an all-expenses-paid trip to see the Players tournament, among other amenities.
In its nine previous editions, the Acoprovi Golf Tournament has brought together more than a thousand national players and has established itself as a platform for promoting over 350 brands nationwide. This highlights the importance of networking in the construction sector as an effective tool for forging connections with other key sectors of the national economy.
