SANTO DOMINGO.- President Luis Abinader yesterday led the launch of the land titling project in Domingo Savio, which is projected to impact some 8,000 families, and which he also described as the most important in the capital, due to its large scale.
With this act, the work of surveying parcels begins for a future delivery of title certificates.
Hundreds of people gathered at the Domingo Savio Multipurpose Center, where the president encouraged them to work together and provide the necessary information so they could receive their degrees as quickly as possible.
With this, the government promotes inclusion, equality, social justice, and gives them more security and stability.
Once the files are completed, the benefited sectors will be Los Guandules, Guachupita, Gualey, Ensanche Espaillat (between 16th Street to Francisco del Rosario Sánchez Avenue) and María Auxiliadora (from Antonio Guzmán Street, Backing 13, to Francisco del Rosario Sánchez Avenue).

The director of the State Land Titling Technical Unit, Duarte Méndez, indicated that the work begins this Tuesday and that all personnel will be properly identified with the institution's clothing and their respective ID cards.
He took advantage of the presence of the residents of these sectors to remind them that these services are free of charge and that in order to complete the files prior to the delivery of titles, they must be present in their homes to receive the personnel who carry out the surveys.
Among those in attendance were the Minister of the Presidency, Joel Santos; the Senator for the National District, Faride Raful; the directors of the National Cadastre, Héctor Pérez Mirambeaux; of the IAD, Francisco Guillermo García; and Rolfi Rojas, president of the Presidential Commission for Neighborhood Development Support.
